TRAIL RULES and SAFETY info

All trail users acknowledge and assume all risk.

Bicyclists always yield to non-bicyclists

DO NOT RIDE WHEN THE TRAIL IS WET, exit the trail as quickly and safely as possible

Trail is ONE WAY, mostly counterclockwise, note the small signs

E-bikes are allowed

Trails are open to mountain bikers, hikers, walkers, trail runners and snowshoers

No dogs or horses
-
Helmets are required for mountain bikers, eye protection and gloves are recommended

Natural trail features can be dangerous and may change daily due to nature and use

Watch for roots, rocks, logs, pot-holes, falling trees, branches, drop-offs, cliffs and other hidden dangers

Always inspect trails/features before using and assess against your skill level

Do not stop in the middle of the trail. Move quickly to the side to avoid collisions

Stay on trails and do not make shortcuts of any kind

Announce your approach to other trail users

In an emergency, dial 911 and proceed to the closest non-interstate road

No motorized vehicles. (Exception: motorized maintenance equipment and E-bikes)

DO NOT LITTER, if you bring it into the park, pack it out

No parking on Pioneer Trail, Audubon or Bluff Creek (south of Pioneer Trail)

Parking at Pioneer Ridge Middle School - during Non-school hours Only
